Existence

Existence is nearly impossible to define. To exist, is "to live or be real or have being" (according to the Longman's Dictionary of Contemporary English, 1988), but even then, what is real? Another check in the same dictionary for the word "real" will not help much either. Real is defined as "actually existing; not imaginary". For the purpose of this writing, it is better to treat what you are reading as existent or we will all end up going circles, like we have just did with the definitions in the dictionary. The human mind has a diverse understanding of what existence is. From a toddler's point of view, if he can see something, that something exists, whether or not other people around him can see what he is seeing. From a pre-school child's point of view, if he cannot see what somebody else tells him to see, he will try to see it. From a student's point of view, it does not really matter whether he can see it or not, as long as the teac...

Conservation of Spiritual Mortality

Conservation is the concept of restoring balance in nature. Familiar phrases are conversation of charge, conservation of momentum, conservation of energy. Initial and the final states are assumed to be equal for conservation to be claimed. Mortality is being mortal. A mortal is a human being. Spiritual is the human spirit or soul. Together, spiritual mortality simply means being human with a soul. Assume that all lifeforms were created at a different rate. The beginning was a huge mass of souls that got splitted up. There was some place in the universe where this one soul resided. The souls were scattered all about. The smaller pieces went to the planets. The larger pieces that were more in sync with the tune of the universe remained in the galaxy. Questions regarding the assumptions, I will greatly receive. The larger pieces of souls, I prefer to call higher order beings, want to unite all the scattered souls together again. The smaller pieces of souls, I prefer to call lower orde...

Absolute Truth and Human Perceptions

Truth, as obscure as it stands, is untouchable by the physical hand. People tend to choose to believe that there is no such thing as absolute. I prefer to say that there is absolute truth, for without which, there will be no truth. You may ask of relative truth. Due to the beauty of definitions, relativity only comes about when there is an absolute comparison. If truth were to be as solid as we can feel an apple to be, will it not then be very dull? Life is designed such that we are constantly getting ourselves in conflicts with others due to our different points of views. Take an apple for example. If you are colour blind, you would say that the apple is black and ugly. Others would say that it is red or green or whatever colour they can see. If you view it from the top, you would say that it is very flat and the ugly hole in the centre makes the apple unsightly. If you view it from the bottom, there would be flatness and then some other shadows of the top part. Viewing it from the si...
